Spider-Man: Homecoming Review!!!

Yes I know its getting old I know but hopefully this sequel will be a bit more different or not. Spider-Man once more spins off on Peter Parker, a teenager who develops super-skills after he’s bitten by a troublesome spider bluh bluh bluh. Lets focus on whats new in the upcoming "blockbuster".

Well the last we saw of Peter Parker, portrayed by Tom Holland, he was helping Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) fight Captain America (Chris Evans) in Civil War. Peter did his bit yet instead of being accepted into the revered ranks of The Avengers, he was callously dropped home. A very sad revelation indeed.

Peter Parker is later seen struggling with being a teen as well as performing his duties to the city as Spider-Man. As usual, Peter is seen in the 'Homecoming' fantasizing about the ever beautiful Liz, who is portrayed by Laura Harrier, relentlessly bullied by Flash Thompson, played by Tony Revolori, with only his nerdy friend, Jacob Batalon, and his loving Aunt May, Marisa Tomei, who are left to wonder what's troubling him.

Facts About The Upcoming Comedy 'The House'

The synopsis of the comedy The House begins with Scott, who is played by Will Ferrell and Kate Johansen, played by Amy Poehler, lose their daughter Alex’s college fund, they later become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university. But with the help of their friendly neighbor Frank, also played by Jason Mantzoukas, they decide to start an illegal casino in the basement of his house.

It’s alleged that Mariah Carey was supposed to have a role as herself in The House, but apparently the pop star took the role a little bit too literal and was too much like her diva self. The movie revolves around two parents, Will Ferrell and Poehler, who start an underground casino in their basement to try and raise money to pay for their daughter's college tuition. Things quickly turned ugly when Mariah Carey showed up on set.

The lead actor, Will Ferrell, was recently interviewed on The Late Show With Seth Myers to promote the movie ‘The House’ and its reported that he discussed Mariah Carey's contribution in the movie.

Will Ferrell in his interview referred to certain demands which were made by the pop star, Mariah Carey, that apparently were not met either on or off set. Will Ferrell was reported saying: "There were suggestions that weren't executed. She was on our set and, um, things happened. Things happened and didn't happen. Let's put it this way: at about midnight, I got a knock on my trailer and said "you can just go home. We're not going to get to you."

Will The 'Despicable Me 3' Take Over The Box Office This Summer?!!

The question on almost everyone’s mind is will the ‘Despicable Me 3’ bring a different yet more intriguing twist in this new reboot. Before we dive into the review of this new twist involving the introduction of a new character Dru, who is apparently Gru’s twin brother, let’s talk about the plot of this new reboot.

The 'Despicable Me 3' plot begins when Balthazar Bratt acting as the villain, uses bubble-gum bombs and a weaponized keytar to steal an gigantic diamond. After failing to capture their new nemesis (Balthazar Bratt) from threatening humanity, Gru is fired from the Anti-Villain League and his new wife super-spy Lucy, played by Kristen Wiig, are now stripped of their crime-fighting credentials by the tough new management, Jenny Slate.

Still on the plot of this new storyline, Gru soon finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis and the stresses of unemployment were temporarily put on hold when Gru learns from his estranged mother, played by Julie Andrews, that he has a twin brother, Dru, from whom they both got separated at birth.

Gru, his wife Lucy alongside his three adopted daughters Margo, voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Edith  by Dana Gaier and finally the ever adorable Agnes, voiced by Nev Scharrel, jets off to the cheese-loving island nation of Freedonia, where his twin brother Dru dwells and oversees his thriving and successful pig farm. Gru is initially jealous of Dru, who has the same beaky nose and Slavic accent, but has a different hair sytle. Although Dru is obsessed with following in his brother’s once-bad footsteps, Dru ultimately turns out to be a stupider and noisier version of Gru.

In Despicable Me 3, Steve Carell now doubles as the voice of both Gru and long-lost twin brother Dru. Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is co-creator of Comedy Central’s global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon.
As expected, this weekend Transformers will face three newcomers, Universal's animated sequel Despicable Me 3, The House and Sony's Baby Driver, which is reported to open in theaters in June 28, 2017. Its anticipated that Despicable Me 3 should have no problem taking the top spot with a projected $90.2 million.

The Despicable Me franchise has been on the rise significantly after enjoying a fairly modest beginnings way back in 2010. The first Despicable Me movie opened at the box office with a solid $56.3 million from 3,476 theaters, $251.5 million domestic and $543.1 million worldwide, from a $69 million budget.

The follow-up Despicable Me 2 in 2013 was also rolled out in roughly 500 more theaters than its predecessor, debuting with an impressive $83.5 million, $368 million domestic and $970.7 million worldwide, from a $76 million budget.

Then finally comes the 2015 spin-off Minions earned roughly $200 million more internationally than Despicable Me 2, with its foreign take of $823.3 million bringing its worldwide total to $1.15 billion, the second highest grossing animated movie of all time behind Frozen which reportedly earned $1.2 billion.

The Animated Film Despicable Me 3 was produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and executive produced by Chris Renaud,
directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio and is willl be released in theaters on June 30, 2017.

In this somewhat not so different twist however, the Minions seem to resign in protest and spend most of their time off by themselves, completely unmindful to their former master Gru (Shocker).

Now, it’s an undeniable fact that there certainly is something new and fresh about the entire world and characters of Despicable Me when it first arrived in 2010. However, it was the Minions spin-off in 2015 which first began to make it feel like the icing all of the Despicable Me franchise.

Despicable Me 3 may yet arguably be one of the most overstuffed animated films to come around in a while. This obviously keeps it from truly finding a more suitable organization at any point throughout.

The Much Anticipated War Of The Planet Of The Apes

From 2011’s Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, which was directed by Rupert Wyatt, to 2014’s Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (with Matt Reeves taking over directing duties), and now to the much anticipated War of the planet of apes we’ve seen humans fall prey to an outbreak of a deadly virus, and how an uneasy truce between our species and the apes crumbled thanks to Caesar’s ruthless second-in-command, Koba, played by Toby Kebbell.

WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES PLOT

War for the Planet of the Apes shows Caesar, played by a performance-captured Andy Serkis, and his apes being forced into a very vicious and deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel McCullough, who was also played by Woody Harrelson.

After the apes suffer an unimaginable loss, Caesar struggles with his darker nature and begins his own epic journey to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are rutted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

Well Well Well, it appears 'Car 3' and 'Wonder Woman' are not the only movies making heads turn. In this new reboot and thanks to Koba, Caesar’s second-in-command, an army who are led by Colonel McCullough, played by Woody Harrelson, seeks to annihilate the apes and with a battle at the apes’ secret woodland hideout leaving Caesar’s tribe defenseless and vulnerable, Caesar heads off on a personal mission to take down McCullough and divert his army away from the surviving apes.

War of the Planet of Apes can be confidently said to be a combination of western, war film and post-apocalyptic sci-fi experience yet continues its predecessors intriguing storytelling.

Ok, lets talk a little bit about the brilliant director of this action and emotion packed blockbuster war of the planet of the apes shall we. Matthew Reeves Born on April 27, 1966 is a writer, producer and director, and is known for his directorial work in 'The Yards' back in the year 2000, Cloverfield in 2008, Let Me In in 2010, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, 2014 and currently War of the Planet of the Apes.

'Transformers: The Last Knight' Review

'Transformers: The Last Knight',” the fifth film in the hugely popular, critically reviled franchise is also the most extravagantly harsh yet vivid, started off in 2007.

The plot of “The Last Knight” as reviewed by Owen Gleiberman, Variety.com, turns on the apocalypse which offers the usual frenzied of events. In the epic height, the visuals tend to mean more than the meaning, and here the world-destroying energy on hand takes the form of a corrosive weapon that looks like gigantic floating shards of cardboard packing debris.

It’s all pleasingly spectacular, and also rather empty at least, until Optimus Prime returns to his true self, his words spoken by Peter Cullen in a voice of such deep rich square nobility that, coming after nearly two-and-a-half hours of hellbent robot-clanking decadence, he seems a cathartically old-fashioned figure. He reminds you that there are moments when this series is capable of making you think that you like it.

'Car 3' Takes #1 Spot At The Weekend Box Office

The Disney and Pixar's, Cars 3, took the top spot at the weekend box office with an estimated $53.5 million, even though most eyes will be focused on the remarkable third weekend for Warner's Wonder Woman in second place and Lionsgate's All eyez on me, as reported by boxofficemojo.

The latter of which absolutely over performed against the pre-weekend expectations. Also outperforming expectations was Entertainment Studios' 47 Meters Down while Sony's Rough Night had a rough weekend, finishing just outside the top five.

Cars 3 is a franchise built on merchandising as it was revealed six years ago that its merchandise had generated over $10 billion worldwide up to that point. Since that time, Disney has introduced the Planes spin-off franchise, continued the animated television series with "Tales from Radiator Springs" and, to top it all off, Disneyland opened Cars Land, a $1.1 billion expansion to the theme park's California Adventure.

'Wonder Woman' Tops 'Mummy' at No.1

Despite the fact that the Universal's release of The Mummy which is starring Tom Cruise is the #1 movie worldwide, it fell short of its predicted spot domestically.

It had to settle for second place, finishing nearly $25 million shy of Wonder Woman's second weekend, as the DC Comics adaptation enjoyed a #1 finish at the weekend box office for a second week in a row, according to Boxofficemojo.

With an estimated $57 million, Warner Bros. and DC Comics' release of Wonder Woman still top the weekend box office for a second week in a row, now totals more than $205 million after just ten days in release.

The performance signals a 45% drop compared to the film's massive $103 million debut last weekend. Just to put that drop in perspective, recent DC Films saw significantly larger second weekend dips as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice fell 69% in its second weekend, Suicide Squad dropped 67% and Man of Steel dipped 65%.
